my step daughter has just been told she's going to lose her job at the end of march
she's 23 and a single mum to a 2yr old....does anyone know how much Income Support she would receive? i looked on the tables for DWP and can see she'll get 67.45 for being a lone parent, and 57.57 for her daughter in child tax credit....will she also get the lone parent/family premium of 17.40?
also....whilst she was working, the child's father was paying maintenance thru CSA.....have the rules changed now, so she can keep all of that, or does DWP take it into account?

The income support currently is £65 odds per week but it's going up to £67 odds in April I believe. Tax credits are £190 per month roughly, maintenance is disregarded for benefits now. She would be entitled to healthy start vouchers as well as HB/LHA and CTB.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
