Olay Classic Anti-wrinkle day & night creams - they seem to be loving my skin which is great by me! I tried the Olay AquaPhysics day cream but it's a bit too light, didn't really make much difference and bizarrely left my skin greasy.

Also, they are only £5 at Asda, as against £10+ elsewhere :money:

I use an Avon Botanics, that always seems to be on offer at about £3 a pot, it has an SPF 20. During the summer I use Avon face sun cream SPF 30. My skin is normal if that helps.

I've used quite a few, Olay, No 7, Johnsons and I just tend to use whatever ison offer. I do have a stockpile though! However, what I find the most important is a good SPF level, I look for SPF 15. :)

I use a Swiss brand called Qiriness; expensive but worth it to my mind as it is the only cream to have made a dent in my acne over the past 15 years.

I've tried so many. I really wanted an anti ageing cream since my mid 30's but ALL of them make my face sting (I think it must be the active ingredients or something?!) Clarins and Clinique were the worst for making my face sore. I found Nivea to be good at moisturising but too thick/heavy and took a long time to sink in. I now think that Astral is the best cream for me and has improved my skin a lot. I have been using it a week and my blotches have gone, and my skin tone looks more even and toned. It doesn't sting and is soothing. I think it was around £3.50.

I find a lot leave me with dry patches as well but i find astral too heavy and greasy for me. It blocks my pores like other similar creams...i have big pores lol

I have been using a brand called Organic Surge £7.99 a pot but they do offers at boots 2 for £8 so i stock up and offers online.

I also have just acquired Lloyds pharmacys organic range and it is selling for £1 and i really like the night cream and use it during the day.

Night time i slather on shea butter to help hydrate my skin overnight and it helps and its light....so no spots :j
  • I am one of those people who buys a different product every time to try and find the 'perfect' routine, but at the moment I'm using Lush Vanishing Cream, which contains less oil than their other moisturisers as it's designed for spot-prone skin, and I really like it - in the six months or so I've been using it it's definitely made a big difference. It's not all that cheap at £15 or so for a 45g pot but it does last for ages so I think it's worth it.

    Olay classic

I find it works in well and leaves skin feeling nice but not sticky.
  • I like Astral too, but at the moment I'm using the aldi one for mature skin (pink lid) - it's richer than the ordinary one (blue lid).
