    Perhaps this is one of the reasons why sales were down. ;)
    Tony Crook, the former RAF pilot and Grand Prix driver who was the owner for decades, allegedly insisted on personally vetting all potential Bristol buyers to ensure they were the right sort of person.

    Seems to have been doomed to fail on that business model.
    Still employing a 91 year old as works director
    In its heyday an 18 month waiting list and only 200 cars a year at that.

    Can't say I'm particularly bothered, it was just a rich man's club, for people with more money than sense.

    I didn't even know they still existed.
