Debating whether to get an IPAD for hubby for his birthday now the price has dropped a little.
He would use it for internet browsing, checking emails and thats about it really. He needs something easy to use which is why I thought of an ipad.
A few questions:
Will flash not being supported really be a problem for general browsing?
Can you print to an epson printer using a wireless connection?
Is it a secure connection so he can access internet banking?
Do reallly not need any antivirus prog on it?
Will he be able to open, read and print pdf documents? (Insurance paperwork, etc)
Thanks to anyone with the patience to answer.

You have to install an app to allow printing which may need to be bought.
You can read PDFs..."there's an app for that". In fact for most questions, the answer is "there's an app for that"
And no, you don't need antivirus software as the iPad is quite limited in what its allowed to do.
For me personally though, it would drive me absolutely mental typing on a touch screen and the perpetual wiping off of finger marks that would come with it.0
