i like to have multiple tabs open and, up until today, firefox willfully obliged. I have updated to the newest version , haven't altered any preferences and now zilch. i click to open a new tab window and it just won't work. I went to the help section which got me to download a little add-on to enable tabbed browsing but it still won't ave it!!!!

Any pointers please.....

It's likely to be a naughty extension. Have you recently added one? Maybe have a look at your extension list and disable recent ones to see if that has the desire effect. :-)
