Talk talk nightmare

I contacted Talk Talk in November cancelling my broadband & phone package. Had email confirmation along with my PAC code. Duly swapped over to Plusnet and thought everything was ok.

Heard nothing further from Talk Talk nor received any bills. Cancelled my direct debit to them in January as my new account with Plusnet started on December 30th.

Everything sorted I believed. However. Over last few days I have had recorded messages left on the answer machine asking me to ring them.

After being on the phone for in excess 1.5 hours today, it portrays, that they cancelled my broadband but not the phone and I owe them money for January and February's line rental even though I no longer had a contract with them nor used their line rental.

After trying to establish what was going on, I was cut off once, passed to another department who promptly again cut me off, was swore at and told to f**k off and again cut off - that was from someone in UK!, told yes all cancelled by 2 people and then told by 3 others no not cancelled. Told I owe nothing as it was paid on 25th February even though it wasn't - presume it was passed to debt collection agency on that date. Then told you owe us the money.
Spoke to someone who said you are still using the line as you are talking to me on it - even though I pay Plusnet for the line rental.

Just spoken to someone else who said they can cancel the line rental from Monday 7th but not backdate it as I didn't cancel the phone even though I have email confirmation they had received my request. The girl who I spoke to last (who was in UK) recommended I speak to Complaints Department who would be able to sort everything out - put me thought - spoke to someone in India who said sorry sorry bad line - cut me off - for me to realise it was 6pm and they close at that time.

FURIOUS does not explain my feelings at the moment.

I am obviously not going to pay for something I haven't had or used!

Does anyone have a name of someone with a brain in Talk Talk who can sort this out.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
