Hello All
I have been wondering about for around 2/3 months now and have been a memeber for approx 1 month. So thought it may be worth saying hello and introducing myself.
My names Richard, I'm still living with my parents and work as a 'Technical Officer' in the IT Unit for Buckinghamshire County Council (new job since sept 06).
I have recently just cleared up my £2,000 debt (loan from my parents) that has been hanging over my shoulders for the last couple of years - built up from borrowing money and not having some money for work on my car.
So firstly its great to get rid of the hanging shadow bringing a smile to my parents and my face
In my eyes i have to say i have had to learn the hard way and do not plan hitting the red again anytime soon
So now being debt free, i was looking into how i could budget and segment my money making things alot easier for myself and with the help of the main website and forum i have done this now!
So a quick thanks to Martin and all users for their helpful info
Hopefully speak to some of you soon
Rich
P.S. Now me and my GF have decided to work on a 3yr saving plan for a house deposit :T
