    Hi all

well here are the 2 boxes for my nieces.. i just need to wrap a length of tartan ribbon around the left one...

They worked out at roughly £20 for the 2.... it would have come in well under that but i spotted a britney spears perfumed body shimmer stick and new youngest would love it :p ..and that was £8

They both have a xmas mug, forever friends teddy, and a selection of german goodies, and then the eldest has smellies and 2 glass tee light holders and the youngest the BS stick....
Hopefully they will get left alone now..unless i spot anything else i just can't resist :rotfl:

thats 2 down and the other 8 baskets are well under way :T
then just need to decide how to wrap them all  ..... will try and get better photos when they are all done

    Hi there gingababe...

Don't know what size boxes/baskets you are looking for..but what about those storage boxes for cds etc..would they be big enough? only then they can use the "box" too!..places like pound stretcher etc have them in.. or there is IKEA if you have one near by...

Wow MRSMCAWBER, what beautiful boxes! I presume you got those in Germany.............they look lovely :T .

I saw some lovely boxes in TK Maxx today. They ranged from £2.99 up to £9.99. All shapes and sizes. If you were looking for a box for someone special then that would be my first port of call.

I did see the boxes at Lidl today. Three different sizes stacked inside each other but they are quite small. I bought one set as they were only £1.99 for the three and will use these as stocking fillers for son's g/f's putting Boots goodies in there or possibly as part of a couple of DVD hamper's I'm doing, one for my god-daughter and the other for a friend who lives alone.

get my baskets to look right, i bought the wicker bins from tesco when they were on offer thinking they would be fab for my baskets but they seem sooo deep, so far i have a large candle in a ceramic pot, a bag of bath salts and a body puff for one of my baskets(also am thinking of getting the dove minature set and a miniture bottle of baileys and a glass to put in the basket for my dad's friend) but i dont know how to pack it up any ideas ppl or do i just use the bins as bins and go on another basket hunt?

Why don't you put some shredded paper at the bottom?
