Hi I only used 1 flannel in my cup cakes - you can leave them as they are but perhaps top with something or you can gently pull up the middle to give a more icing swirl appearance. Wilkos are doing in peach and clear, and lilac and clear 10 bath pearls for £1, they are also selling about 6 heart shaped bath fizz things similar to what Ruby made also for about £1 which you could use for a topper if you wanted... I also considered candles...
This shows what I mean by the swirl, I only used one flannel tho! Cases courtesy of Rainmac!

Hi all
Hampers look great! :-)
Just have a quick question - I have finished 6 hampers that I have finished for Xmas - they are all full of various things that I know the people like. Question is - My OH thinks I should wrap all the individual items before wrapping the basket in cellophane. What do you think? Will this ruin the effect.? His reasoning is that they will then have bits to unwrap.
Please help!0 -

If it was a box that was not left open I would prob wrap items up individually, but not for a hamper, part of it's charm is that you get the lovely display.
If you dont want the recipients to see what is inside you can put tissue inside the cello before you wrap it (see the pictures thred for ideas).
Just my opinion. You can stand there and agonize........

This is what I'm going to do. I'll wrap all the bits in coordinating papers/ribbons, the cellpahne with a coordinating bow. Hopefully it will look quite effective. We always deliver gifts on xmas eve so dont want them to be able to see what they've got and take away the surprise.
The exception is the food hampers I'm making which I'll leave open.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
