I haven't posted for a while, but I've still been reading and keeping up to date on what your all up to with your hampers
.
Now that pay day is looming I'm sitting here scouring the internet for additional Christmas presents.
I picked up a hamper from Wilkinsons and have decided to make my OH a candle related hamper. You'd never know from looking at him (and even our friends probably wouldn't suspect!) but he's a real romantic soul when it comes to sitting down for dinner or watching a movie and loves lighting lots of candles so I'm doing him a candle hamper.
I've just bought him one of these
and as a treat I got him one of these tooThis luxury Christmas candle blends cinnamon, clove, cedarwood and balsam for the gorgeous aroma of Christmas trees trimmed with spiced cookies.
I also got him some vanilla scented wax beads
and the wicks to go with them. The wax beads were only £3.99 a pack (I've seen them for £6.50 in other stores ) He's wanted wax beads for a while! It goes without saying that the Yankee Candles aren't cheap but I shopped around and got the best price I could find (and free delivery - which is a bargain considering candles are weighty!)
I'm intending to shop around for some scented candlesticks and maybe some tea lights too, just to fill the hamper out for him.
We already have a gas fuelled lighter which is currently out of gas. I think it would be a bit rude to buy him a gas refillso I can probably get a new gas lighter somewhere cheaply too.
Other than that I've nabbed 'Enchanted' on DVD for my aunty for Christmas. She, like me, loves Disney movies and its £4.99 at HMV at the moment. Its been stuck at £14.99 forever! It was about time it went cheap. If your going to do the same don't forget Quidco or Topcashback.co.uk

Took me ages to read this thread, and I would like to join in this year. Any tips on where to pick up cheap baskets and all the other bits and bobs like the cello wrap and tissue paper.
By the way, to all who have posted pictures, well done, they are FAB :T :T :T :T0 -
