What about making some flavoured vodka. Apparently it's really easy to make Skittles Vodka and Mars Vodka using a dishwasher! my friend did warn me though that if you make Skittles Vodka take out the green ones or it ends up brown!

You could also put in some paracetamol for those hangovers?

What about a book of drinking games?

I saw drinking game books or packs cards (can't remember which now!) in Home Bargains for 49p a couple of weeks ago.

Hello everyone, after being completely inspired by the pictures and posts on here, I decided to make 6 christmas baskets for my family and friends this christmas. I have purchased six of everything and aim to keep the total cost to £15 pp max. I am still waiting for my cup cases to arrive from eBay and also my baskets. So this morning I have attempted to put a mock up basket and cup cake together with the stuff I have so far and I think it doesn't look too bad.
The actual baskets will be shallower, hence the second picture with a towel in the bottom!!

    What do you think?

The plan is to still add heart chocolate, mini bottle of wine and maybe if the budget stretches a very small book on friendship or motherhood or something, I am hoping to spend no more than a £1 on these so here's hoping.

    Thanks
    xxxxxx

They look so fab, I'd love to receive something like that for Xmas :D

Have a look in Home Bargains if you have one for cheapie books - some great ones for as little as 49p!

  • Thanks Rainmac and Rustflange (great name by the way)

Unfortunately we don't have a home bargains, but I haven't really started looking for the books yet, but will make it my mission now the rest is sorted.

I forgot to mention the prices:
Bath bombs £3.75 for 8 (eBay)
Bath Lillys- these are bodyshop really lovely ones and I was luck to get 6 for £4.15 (Ebay)
Cello and bows - £5.68 (2 rolls and 10 bows) (ebay)
    muffin cases - £2.65 (ebay)
    socks 50p each tesco
make up brushes £1 each tesco
compact and brush - cancer research 99p
car air freshener - 99p (cancer research)
tissues 99p for a pack of four (tesco)
face mask 4 for 3 at superdrup 89p each
    6 white flannels £4.89 (ebay)

all the above is total cost including postage, so don't feel like it has been too expensive yet. The trouble is now I have started I could put some much in, and I have to stop myself buying things that are expensive because I need six each time.

I will keep following with interest, thanks again for the inspiration.

My youngest sisiters birthday is in a week, and I thought I would do some sort of hamper for her,

I have been looking at the ones done here and they are amazing, I dont think mine will be up to that standard but want to give it a shot,

With her being 18 and so, its easist to base it round alcohol or something like that but would like to put loads of stuff into it,

I have bought a personalised shot glass for £2 off ebay
I have bought a champange bottle charm braclet for her LOL bracelet

I am going to get her some mini bottles of wine, mini vodka bottles, and thought maybe pjyamas (cant go wrong) candles, smelly stuff

Please girls, help me out I could do with help,

I looked through about 60 pages of this thread and couldnt see anyone that has done this before,

    Thanks

How about things like wine glass charm, girly corkscrew and then the otherend of the spectrum with eye mask, hangover cure, paracetomols etc
