Babyelephant, what are men like
they just don't get it do they, I bet it is really nice and I am sure she will love it...I have never done this before and am planning to do some this year - after being inspired on here!! but really I do think that a 'girlie' basket is probably lost on your hubby, I know it would be on mine - the best I would get when I showed him (and it could look really really professional would be -' yeah very nice' !!
I just know that I would absolutely looovvvee someone to do one for me, I really would

OK - here's my basket - be honest with me, after the brutal "feedback" from hubby I can take anything - lol
I need to get some nail polish and a couple more bits to finish it off but I'm nearly there. As well as the stuff you can see, the stuff you can't see is choccie biscuits, loofah, nailbrush, lush bathbomb, body mousse, pink hairband (in bottom of cup)... there's also description of her name at the bottom of the coaster! Oh and it's in a sliver basket because she loves silver and will be able to use the basket in her home once she's emptied it0 -
I'm getting a pink vibe from this baby elephant...and by the way its nothing like the dogs dinner your husband suggested!!!! (nor is it finished like you said yourself!!)
I reckon a bit of careful placing of items (ie. all the big bathy/facey stuff at the back) and some cute pink tissue paper and it will look amazing!! It looks really nice now anyway!!

That is who I got mine from - really quick delivery and I was really pleased with what I got for my money.
Brilliant Anic, cant wait to get them, got 2 different wraps and a mixture of coloured bows. Cant wait to get all arty and creative!! I paid £3, £4 and £5 for my baskets today. I think I will try 99p store next time!! :rotfl:
Quick question, what do people put in the bottom for a lining/bulk effect? shredded tissue paper? You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -

That looks great Babyelephant. Why not get a co-ordinating hand towel or something useful to put in the bottom to lift everything up instead of using loads of tissue paper and makes it something useful for her aswell. I would try standing some of the taller items instead of lying them down to give it a bit of height and fitting the smaller items in around them.
Looking good! Keep it up!!!:T"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Yep, pink theme it is... I definitely need to get some pink paper but have rearranged like you suggested - it looks better already. Thanks for the advice :T

That's a great idea - I was going to try to "fit in" a face cloth but a hand towel would be so much better (I've used a few cotton wool balls at the moment - lol)...
I knew you guys would help me out :j0 -
