    Thank you Maria. I think if this basket is a success and I want to make anymore I'll use ebay, but as I'm giving this one on Saturday (I've been very late in organising it) I'll have to try the few remaining shops! Those heart baskets are lovely though!

    Thanks Chris as well, they sound nice and it will make the detour to Morrisons worth it, if they at least sell baskets in some stores. Ours is quite big and has a home section so hopefully they'll be okay!

    I'll post pictures later if this is a success!

    everything apart from the grannies was from hawkins bazaar, they are stretchy, I am sure they were 25p each

    Hi, my children loved these little yellow men, they had great fun in Evesham with them, taking photos of them all over the place. Cheapest things are always the most fun.

    Sorry about the large photo, it was the first one I have ever posted. now I've mastered it hopefully I can post some photo's of my baskets, towel cakes,nappycakes and everything else you have all inspired me to make. Thank you all so much.

    Love your pic Density its such an AWESOME idea!! I love how you made some little yellow man into such an imaginative practical idea.

    I am thinking now.. what about a little hamper for kids so they can do this take your man around the world idea? of.. a lunch box as the base with a flask, a note pad and cool pen and a disposable camera with one of those little men and a poem.. something like.. and don't laugh at me please!!:

    Think I just must get a Hawkins Bazaar catalogue............last few years I've had one automatically but never ordered......maybe thats why they missed me out this year............:confused:
