    Lovely basket.....................love your quilt too.......................

    Shaz

Aww thank you! And thanks to everyone else for the positive comments and encouragement :) The quilt originally came from Asda about 6 years ago, it's me trying to be Cath Kidston-esque

Started thinking about Christmas now, already have a few ideas and some bits and pieces to go in hampers but I'm a bit stuck on a couple of them.

The first is for SIL - she's always rushing everywhere, one of these people who'll be on the phone, whilst doing the ironing and watching tv and cooking dinner - so much so that while rushing around last month she fell down the stairs, dislocated her shoulder and fractured the bone - so we though it's high time she deserved a Slow Down and Relax Hamper.

I've got a small puzzle with a picture of a surfer on (she lives on the Cornish coast) and I've just bought some purple Avon Reflection shower gel and hand soap (2 for £3). But I'm a bit stuck for ideas after that. She lives on her own, works about 12 hours a day as an accountant, doesn't like candles and doesn't do baths as they take too long!

The other idea is for a couple of friends who bought a house last year and are always moaning about having no money. I thought of doing them a Thrifty MSE Basket! So it'll contain Energy Saving Lightbulbs, the Mr Thrifty book and Thrifty Ways book, a piggy bank, some kind of Bag for Life and packets of vegetable seeds but I think a need a few more ideas to go with it.

By the way RustyFlange - I love the presents in Cath Kidston bags idea! :T Looks fab! Haven't been able to find any bags in our local Tesco but will definately keep on looking now!

What about putting it all in a huge plant pot? Try poundland, extras to put in could be gardening tools (poundland again), gardening gloves (poundland or similar), a bottle of stardrops (if they don't use it already), plant food, and what about making a draught excluder and wrapping it around the top of the plant pot? or decorating it and making it into a dog or cat?

Well just to carry on with being good and staying on top of things after a bad day I have just relieved my stresses by making another hamper ... (amazingly it did the trick, does that make me sad???)
This one is for my gran for christmas she is 75+ I am also buying her some PJ's and a frame with a picture of the children in it (the frame is to go in the hamper hence it not being wrapped.

    Items in it -
    Body shop rose spray
Body shop body lotion - both this and above were won on a raffle (cost £1 to enter :D)
    Body shop rose body lotion
    bodyshop rose spray
    bodyshop rose showergel
bosyshop scrunchy wash mit - all of above RRP £6 found on charity stall at open day paid 50p for it :)
Flannel cupcake - approx 60p (flannels 25p each and cost of holder)
Lush bath melt - Free was given this in the shop cause my daughter looks so cute :D
    Cucumber cleansing wipes - 49.5p - BOGOF in boots 99p for 2
Lavendar room spray - Free - part of a gift set i have bever used
Lavendar votive candle - Free as above
    Basket - Set of 4 - £4.99 - so £1.25 ish each
    Total cost £3.84
Leaving me just under £7 to find a nice frame and Pj's for her. (I am not being tight just on a very short budget for christmas :( Hence me wanting items to look expensive even though they haven't cost a lot. )
