I can't remember where you are D-D, but maybe these stores are just northern based? I had a look on ebay, but only spotted the real popcorn boxes so far.
I'll keep looking in the stores and online - there must be 100's of these about
I'm in Luton looks like nearest store to me is Northampton but I don't venture up there

That's really impressive for the price Lickul miss :T and a real 'treasure trove'
I've been trying to keep mine as themed, or colour-coded, but that's given me an idea for all the odds and ends I've bought lol. Thanks!Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Brilliant hampers !!! Wish I'd known about this site last year when baby grandson was born -could have done one for him. Did look at buying one but they were so expensive. This year for his 1st birthday he's having a toy box filled with teddies and other toys.
Some super ideas on here.............I've been doing most of mine by either colour or some sort of 'theme' - seems to make it easier to do, but two of my friends like an assortment of 'bits'Mary

I am little late to this thread but I have used boxes that 5 reams of office paper come in. Wrapped up and has a great fitting lid. Good if you want to give the hamper to someone in advance.
And best of all free. As most offices just chuck them. I am sure that most people will have access via a spouse/child/friend etc.

My son always gets a shoebox of 'bits and pieces' birthday and christmas -easier to post. This is the first year I've done baskets..............got them cheap and I'm keeping the contents down to a very small budget in order to save a bit more.
I always keep the odd boxes that stuff gets delivered in and in the past everyones had stuff wrapped up in a box so its almost like a 'lucky dip' when it comes to opening.Mary

Great Hamper Lickel Miss!
Well what with my Bootsing and picking up loads of other bits and pieces on the way, I now think I have most of the stuff to even put my Christmas Hampers together!! Its great how quick you accumalate things when you put your mind to it
I've got everything now (just waiting for cases to be delivered) to do the flannel cupcakes too, picked up packets of 12 flannels in Dunelms today for £3.49 and also some remnants of voile for 50p a piece. I'm looking out for the mini plastic trays that I could fit a coffee mug and a cupcake on and then wrap in cellophane so if anyone see's them on their travels can they let me know which shops are stocking them TIA. Also at Dunelms someone had bought a couple of things in little boxes with a window at the front but had discarded the boxes in a trolley so I whipped them quick as they could hold a cupcake too
I bought my friends' baby some clothes reduced in Wilko's today, £40 worth for a tenner as they were 75% off!! Thought I would make a "suit cover" type thing with cellophane and add a bow so they can stay on the hangers, will post a pic if the idea worksProud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -

When I last went to town, Woolworths had some spotty trays in their clearance section - pale blue or pale pink with white spots - various sizes but I do remember there being a small one which might be the right size you're after.0
