I think Mrs Mcawber lives in Germany but you can by German goodies in Lidl and Aldi if that helps. Lidl especially has some lovely Christmas biscuits and chocolate in this year.
Hope this helps?0 -

Hi Postingalwaysposting,
Where did you get so many free things from?I'm thinking the answer might be BOGOF ( IYSWIM):rotfl:
lots of differnt ways ~ yes ellidee bogof was one of them but like i would order something for mums hamper (shampoo and get lipgloss/shower gel/weekend bag free) and put the free thing/s in my sisters hamper. Then i have the recyled gifts ~ either given to me or discarded from last year lying around the house ~ ie the Burberry eau de toilette was shoved in a basket at the bottom of the stairs. Free gifts from work (ie the wine). competitions/samples.
I must add though i start xmas shopping/saving/voucher savings/comping december of the previous year, therefore some of these were purchased december 06 so its not too hard to find enough free gifts. Its ironic really because all my money saving for xmas ~ £200 wasnt used on xmas gifts as i had already finished ~ instead it helped me start my busniess... doesnt mean however next year i wont save
i cant wait untill my birthday 31st december... xmas 08 shopping on the cheap :rotfl:0 -

For son's Christmas Fayre £10.00

Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream0 -
It looks really pretty.
Where did you get it from Lara?
I got it from a florist wholesalers. I was really surprised when I opened it and realised it wasn't so see through - saved me the hassle of wondering how I could cover up what was in there! It cost £10.94 and there is about 80m on the roll - I think. I didn't put bows on the children's because it would be wasteful and also I wanted the bows for my other presents!

Hi there
Just got back from the supermarket... i don't know what you lovely folks have done to me..but every time i see a box, basket etc my mind starts pondering "hmmm what can i put in that?"
I have never seen these baskets in there before..but they were the 1st thing i saw as i got in there..so i grabbed them..all 4 :T
the linings come out, so im going to give them a quick freshen up before i fill them.. the were whoopsied:j
the big pink ones worked out at £3.50, the next size down was £3 and the smallest was £2.50.... this hamper thing is addictive...
