    Hey all,

I've done a search and can't find this anywhere... Apologies if it has been posted before though.

I got some seagrass baskets from Argos today (reserve and pick up) - they are 3 for £14.99, but you get 3 free too on the special offer (click on the special offer link in red for details), making the total £2.50 per basket. They're really nice quality.

Here's the link (or if that's not allowed and gets deleted, go to Argos and search for Set of 3 seagrass baskets - natural):

Loving everyone's baskets. I can't wait to get mine sorted :T

  • for those that have put the towels in the bottom, I used cheap bath sponges to lift mine up and used the towels for decoration. What i did was hang the corner of the towel over the front of the basket. I hope that makes sense. I just thought if you had a nice personalised one then itd be so nice to show it off like that.

I can't believe all of the hampers on here theyre gorgeous!

Mrs mcawber I want to know where you get all the gorgeous german food from too!! it looks so luxurious in your baskets!

Thanks for all of the lovely ideas everyone x

I love to see these presents, they all look so fantastic. Silverangel35 your chocolates and treats one is fab. When people talk about the smells of christmas they usually mean oranges, cloves, pud, dinner etc but for me I always recall the smell of chocolate and sweets that came out of those net stockings that mars and cadbury's would do. A whole basketfull, I would have been in heaven lol.

No it isn't material but I was quite surprised when I opened the roll as it isn't all crinkly like ordinary cellophane but has a lovely texture and feel to it. Sort of silky feel  .

With the shower caddy how about getting a box that had soap in, like Tesco's, and covering that. Stand the showercaddy in it, you can "stuff" any excess space with christmas paper or tissue or even a flannel/hand towel. Stand box/caddy on cellophane then just pull up and wrap like you would a hamper. I've used the soap boxes to stand in the hampers to give some "lift" but I cut off some of the top edge first so it is shallower but I think you may need the height to help hold the caddy in place. If it is too long/deep then make it shorter.

I've got five more to complete then wrap but these are all in wicker baskets. The coloured baskets I've used for the small children can be doubled up as play boxes. I got them from Tesco, three sizes for £4.24 I think.

    .

    It looks really pretty.

Where did you get it from Lara?

    :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
