Halogen oven - replacement bulb

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
I have a JML halogen oven. The bulb blew, and we contacted JML who sent us a replacement. However, it is supposed to be fitted by a qualified electrician (and we can't get the cover off ourselves anyway - we've tried), but we cannot find anyone who will do it.

We asked JML if they knew anyone, but they said they couldn't help.

Any ideas, anyone please?

    If the oven is under 1 year old JML will replace it under warrenty.

    Failing that give their Customer Services a ring on:

    JML 0871 221 2677

    If they still !!!!!! you about have a word with your local Trading Standards to explain to JML and support your claim for a replacement unit, using the 1979 Consumer Act quoting 'fit for purpose'.

    'cos they should sell a thing that needs a 'professional' to change the bulb.
