Does anyone have any experience of any of the following independent damp surveyors: Academy Remedial Surveyors (Ray Baker), Independent Specialist Surveyors (Keith Gardner), or Martin Ball? It's for a basement flat in London. I believe only Ray Baker has the Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) qualification.
thanks!
thanks!

Not sure about Martin Ball Associates but the Independent Specialist Surveys website states CSRT and CSSW qualified0

I used Ray for my house purchase (Victorian terrace) and was relieved to find he didn't find anything worrying. The survey was good for peace of mind. I'm not sure about the qualifications, but he seemd like quite a knowledgeable guy and the rates were reasonable so I went with him.
There doesn't seem to be many of these guys about does there?0 -

The ones named are all independent surveyors on the list for the London area. You could ask them for references or testimonials from satisfied customers if you can't get much background info on here...I am a mortgage broker. Does anyone know if there is a register for CSRT, CSSW?
The reason I am asking is that I would like to verify the name directly against the register to be 100% sure that the person does indeed have the qualification.
Thanks!0
