You can't even get money out of the Halifax any more!

A local charity I help out with are having their annual autumn dance this weekend. For the past few years I and a few others have run the bar at these events. Our local off-licence gives us all the glasses and the drink on sale or return so it's not too much hassle and helps to make a few extra quid.
Obviously we need a float for the bar, so what I have done for the past few years is go into my bank - the Halifax - and order about £200 in small change. They usually need a couple of days to get it delivered to the branch, but that's not a problem, I don't expect them to have it ready immediately.
So I went in at lunchtime today (Monday) and asked if they could get the change in and could I pick it up on Friday. Apparently the answer is no. They don't order in small change any more, so I can only have whatever they have lying around and there is no guarantee they will have any change in the bank on Friday. This means I am going to have to make another trip tomorrow and probably a third journey later in the week and just hope they have some change available.
You can't even get money out of the bank any more.
