anyone used buggy connectors?

like these http://www.cradleandall.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=38&products_id=1131&osCsid=84e6cc254b32020c9afd19095b13c7dc

can they be used with maclaren buggies? it seems that the holes are designed for round tube frames, but the maclarens have a square rear metal frame. has anyone tried them, and will they still work if all 3 connectors only used on the front of the frame, and none on the back?
