Hi

I've tried a generic iPod touch av lead but my 4g says not supported. I've spotted other leads with iPod 3GS on it but not 4g.

Are there anyways around this? My docking station has AV out but only supports 5g. (docking station has 3.5 audio in which can be used with laptop/other audio too)

I don't want to pay up to £50 (inc. charger) for an Apple AV lead as there is nowt to them really.

Has anybody found a cheaper solution to an overpriced Apple 4g AV lead??(are they wired a certain way or chipped to enable it to work/be recognised by the touch?)
