Hi BitterAndTwisted (are you really by the way?)

Not usually. It started off as a bit of an in-joke sortathing.

One of the reasons why I think you should consider all options before selling up is that renting can be and sometime is a headache. Could you cope with being on the move every six months, if you're unlucky?

You'd have to be very unlucky to have to move every six months. Most landlords like stability and would prefer a good tennant that pays rent on time. Most dont make a habit of kicking you out after the minimum term, just because they are legally permmitted to.

I think we'll hopefully be able to stay somewhere for 12 months. Fingers crossed. We have three Estate Agents coming round next week to value the house. I hope it all goes according to plan.

I know that conventional wisdom says that buying is better than renting, but sometimes you have to cut your losses. It's just somewhere to live after all, and if this move gets us out of a financial hole (to a degree), and allows us to live a bit more stress-free it will be worth it.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it
