I love having fun with these Idiots, Don't hang up when they ring, string them along and get yourself a free half hour of entertainment by pretending to be hard of hearing, Computer Illiterate and easily stressed out.
However, keep thanking them all the time for their assistance, you don't want them to think you're taking the mick after all. After you have pretended to download and install their software and you are nearing the end of their "assistance" when it comes to getting pay-pal money out of you, keep giving them the wrong email address...over and over and over again until they finally give in and hang up on you.

*For the more Malicious of you out there, get your wife in on the wind up by pretending to have a row mid-phone call and have her scream out loudly as though you have just gave her a healthy backhander. See if you can get the caller to agree that you were in the right and that SHE had that coming to her.
