Berlin

Options
This is Groupon's current offer which is quite a good one for a well known hotel in Berlin
Today’s deal:
Experience Berlin: Two Nights for Two with a Three Course Meal and More at art'otel® berlin city center west by Park Plaza for £195 (Value £390) or £210 (Value £425) with Upgrade to an Art Room XL

There are also some flight offers atached I have never used a Groupon hotel offer my only fear is that you could buy it and, in spite of the offer being valid to July, you might not get any of the dates you want. I remember a tea deal they did a while ago and this was a problem. But it could be just fine of course, I am very tempted.

as of now 846 already bought so suitable availability may be a problem
I Bought the Fairmont St Andrews Room + Spa package for 2 (over 1000 sold) and availability at weekends was impossible.

BTW https://www.HRS.com (among others) are doing this hotel for £97 per night so 2 nights ie Fri May 13 + Sat May 14 is only £194.26
check https://www.roomratecompare.com to search for suitable dates.

Groupon discounts are based on the Rack Rate so I've found that there is rarely as much as the headline 50%/60% saving that they advertise.

Thanks, I thought this might well be the case re availability and price re Groupon
Does everyone get their Groupon voucher at same time? Perhaps if you booked the minute it arrived in email box?
Have been tempted by some of the UK offiers of hotels in Cotswolds etc are they ever worth doing or does fitting the visit in normally involve a lot of haggling? Maybe they have very little availability at w/ends anyway?
Only thing I have ever bought has been hair appts these seem to work out fine.

    Now 1068 bought.
I think the upgraded room + 3 course meal offer @ £210 is probably about £70/£80 saving on non groupon prices inc buying a meal, so if you are flexible on dates, its a good deal.
