How much gas and electric should we be using?

Me and the OH are moving into our own place and am trying to estimate what we will be using.

For the now it's 2 adults in a 3 bedroom house (around 8 years old) so insulation should be quite good.

I've got the Tier 1 and Tier 2 prices but need to know how many KWh of gas and electricity 2 adults in a 3 bedroom house will use over a year.

Also have to take into consideration that from July we will have a baby.

Any help is greatly appreciated as i've just made a spreadsheet.

Thanks.

Your gas is very low. Are you sure it is less than 4,000 for the whole year?

That's quite good. 50% of the annual usage is over the 3 coldest winter months. It is not evenly spread over the year. The summer bills will be much lower.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
