can play my sony camcorder through tv have a lead with red white & yellow cables to plug in tele. could i record these films to a dvd if i got a dvd recorder, if so does it have to be a specific one. have no firewire on laptop as i know you could do it that way if you had firewire. just looking for the simplest way to do it .

Yes any dvd recorder , if it doesn't have composite connections in you can get a red/white/yellow to scart converter.0
