Saving my pictures from Macbook

I am wishing to sell my macbook and have load of songs and pics on there, what is the best way to save these as i will restore the machine to factory settings before selling.

    Get a genius at the Apple Store to transfer your stuff onto your new macbook.

    Or burn them onto a DVD, copy to a USB flash card or external hardrive.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.
