I beleive to date no one has ever been taken to court yet so I may be the first.
P.s. My parking fee is now up to £260 if that makes you feel any better. lol
cheers

They are lieing to you ( no big surprise) as a general rule the person claimed against can request the venue to be changed to a court closer to where they live ..although not automatic this is usually granted.

Please don't contact them again.
I once had, seemingly, notice of court proceedings, from a different company, so rang the court.
No such proceedings existed, so the lying scum were just trying to frighten me into paying.

I would actually call them again and record it to pass onto Trading Standards.0

EDRS Ltd's registered office is in Finchley but they actually operate from Milton Keynes - well, at least their telephone number puts them there i.e. 01908 821245 (as per their website).
The company they are purporting to collect debts on behalf of - LDK Security Group Ltd - also operate from Milton Keynes (although they have an unconnected registered office in London too) and whilst there is nothing too unusual about that there is the little matter of one of LDK's - maybe previous - addresses (as per Yell but the detail is hidden within the search) namely, M K Two Business Centre, 1, Barton Road, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK2 3HU. Tel: 01908 821245.
A search of the IC's register reveals that EDRS Ltd (aka Ethcal Debt Recovery Services Ltd - as far as the IC is concerned) have declared an address of Unit W3, MK Two Business Centre - so, getting slightly more interesting.
Now, is it just me or do those two telephone numbers seem horribly similar? Is there something we need to know? Not that operating your own debt collection service is in any way wrong but as Observices Parking Consultancy found recently (Read Here) failing to reveal the connection - if there is one, of course - can result in serious problems with our friends at TS.
The nail in the coffin, I'd suggest, is that Companies House reveal that whilst EDRS have a nominee director (based in Limassol, of course) the two shareholders just happen to be two of the directors of LDK Security Group Ltd. That's a little more than simple coincidence and would seem to amply demonstrate that there is as much connection between EDRS and LDK as there was between Windsor-Smythe and OPC.
Oops!My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
