Tesco.net and Norton

Has anyone else encountered Norton showing tesco.net as either non-existent (with '10 unsafe sites removed') or via a Google search with a big red mark (i.e. dodgy site) next to it?

According to Tesco service phoneline it has no problems today and the broadband is working fine. Just unwilling to access tesco mail to send emails if Norton not happy with it!

I get a "Norton secured" & green "OK" (IE 8)

Have you checked that your computers date is right? this usually sets of warnings

The Norton message says it has problems with virus/trojan threats. Perhaps it will have been sorted by tomorrow.

Following my reports from yesterday, I phoned Tesco.net 0845 650 8000 and told them about the trojan problems Norton was identifying. Apparently they have already had ten calls about this this morning from other tesco.net users and are passing it on to their technical team.
Norton is now treating mail.tesco.net as a malicious site and blocking access (different to yesterday). If you have also had this issue Tesco ask that you contact them.
This is a problem if you are on Tesco home phone/broadband because there is no outgoing mail server you can use for Outlook - you have to use mail.tesco.net
