Changing Breakdown cover? Which one?

I have been with the AA for years but switched a few years ago to RAC using my Tesco vouchers as it was effectively free. I switched back to the AA after a year back as they were much better. I found the wait time much less with them and as you're the member, you're also covered if you're in someone elses car (either as a passenger or driver). Roadside Assistance with them is £30 per year and Quidco currently offer £19 cashback so effectively it'll cost you £11!!0

There are too many permutations really but I prefer the "free at the point of service" option. Even then, the multitude of options is vast and almost everyone will want a slightly different level. Whether one company are significantly better than another is debatable. The RAC and AA have the most to lose publicity wise.0
