Juicer

HI All,

I have decided to try out the juicing diet for a couple of weeks. Can anyone recommend a decent juicer for a good price? Looking for something that can do all fruits and veg, not just oranges please.

Been looking at Amazon, and they are about £40, is that a reasonable price?

Thanks

I had a juicer, think it was a juicelady one and it worked well, but was a bit of a pain to clean. Never actually managed the juice diet (too hungry!) but did use it occasionally, then it gathered dust in the attic for a long while.

I would ask around friends / family and see if anyone has one they can lend you for a couple of weeks rather than splashing out on a new one, that or take a look on ebay / car boots.

Try on Freecycle or Freegle as well. I bought one for the kids years ago but it was a pain to clean and not very cheap. It was actually cheaper buying Tropicana on special deals.

I forgot it was in the cupboard until I saw someone on Freegle asking for one, so i cleaned it up and gave it to her.
I just make smoothies using frozen fruit or bruised cheap fruit and cheap oj in my blender now.

I dont imagine the diet is a long term thing so at least if you get it cheap or free you wont have spent loads on something you might only use for 3 weeks.
