Likely cost of a concrete garage base?

Hi all,

We're in the process of buying a house that currently has a single garage. In the longer term we'd like to get permission to put a double on there instead. In the short term we'd like to put down some concrete next to the single, to give us a bit more hard standing for parking, and provide a suitable base for the double garage in the future. At the moment the area is mostly lawn, with a couple of small shrubs.

Can anyone give us an idea of what sort of cost we might be looking at to do the concrete base? Located in East Mids if that makes any difference.
