We've managed it by selling the car (was only an old 2nd hand one but saved loads on the running costs), getting rid of sky, cooking all meals from scratch, increasing income by claiming benefits we were entitled to that we didn't know about before (youngest son is autistic) keeping a spending diary, changing utility suppliers, xmas has been funded entirely from pigsback vouchers, vouchers from surveys, quidco, clubcard/nectar points this year, all the usual things that everyone recommends on here! They really do work.
Have you posted an SOA on the forum yet, sorry if you have already, I'm a bit behind with the posts! Everyone here is brilliant at seeing where you could possibly cut back & save a few pounds.
Good luck with your dmp xx
didnt put a soa on as have done a very thorough one with CCCS but its tips really that i need. i only found out bout pigsback bout 4 weeks ago but by registering oh as well have £15 in vouchers- not much but its a start so next year should have quite a few vouchers..'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
it's good news that you are still on the dfw path; so may names disappear and you never know if they have relapsed or - as in your case - are just steadily plodding on. Or not steadily plodding on but really going for it! you have done so well. Don't leave it so long to post again now you have your new shiny laptop.0
