Balance Tranfer Dilema

Hi
I currently have an Santander credit card which has £2000 on it. Now instead of paying the 19.9% interest, I decided to do a balance transfer and try and get 0% for x Amount of months.
Now I have just tried Barclaycard and Nationwide, but have been turned down by both.
I have not missed any payments on the credit card I have now. So cant see any reason why I should be turned down.
Is it worth trying any other credit card companies?
If so are there any that could be better suited to me?
I have just done a quick credit score on the find a lender link that was on this site.
The score was 822 (4 green stars) but the post code score was 336 (1 red star).
What has the post code got to do with it? Is it previous tennants, if so what can I do about this?
Cheers

Be careful with applying to lots of different lenders, this will damage you crdit file. Get a free trial with one of the credit reference companies and have a look at your file, there may be something your not aware of, or you could call Santander and see if they are prepared to do anything to keep your business????:j:):jI am a bankruptcy survivour (10 years ago). It does get easier.:j:):j

I have had a look previously at my credit score and it seems ok. It's actually better than my brothers and he never has any problems getting credit if need be. ( I know that probably doesn't mean much).
Might go down the route of phoning my own bank.
I also edited my last post at the end.
Thanks for your time0
