Friday 4th March-What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:T
Morning  yay here we are Friday :j and I believe we made it without any casaulties :rotfl:I'm up for doing the pants off of my work, getting as much done as I can and loving it while I'm there - who is with me for the final time this week????? :T
Picasso - lovely posts yesterday really happy things have turned a corner for you & also you got ur dream holiday! :T
Candy how did it go at WW?

Morning everyone! Its Friday and this week it really is! (last week I worked the weekend and hated Friday!!!) Woo hoo.
1. Check banking (done)
2. Packed lunch (done)
3. Hot pot for tea (on)
Sadly I woke up to an email from Ikea this morning stating that their sale was starting today. The sofa we decided we were going to buy when we had saved for it is £1000 off. What are the chances hey? So some work with the budget to be done today methinks. Not very debt free wannabe but very MSE!
Have a great day xIf you knew it then you know it!

Happy Friday to you all, and thanks to DNMS for starting the thread today.
I can't wait for 5.30 tonight as there's far too much 'office politics' going on at the moment. I quite innocently lit the blue touchpaper yesterday and, my gosh, did those sparks fly! I think I'll shut myself in my office today and keep my head down or I may say something I'll regret
So far today:- checked banking
- checked OnePoll
- made lunch to take to work
- fed and watered chickens
- boxed 6 eggs to take to DD tonight
- do an hour overtime before work (but not this evening too)
- LSD - just icing sugar for the Hummingbird Cake
- phone NHS pension scheme to find out where my refund is - they said 5 days over a week ago
- phone HMRC to see if I am entitled to a tax rebate
- phone WTC as my payment hasn't gone in the bank
- charge mobile at work for the weekend
- free coffee at work now I've ordered the decaff
- all meals from stores
- visit friend tonight to discuss market stall (and eat lots of above-mentioned cake) :j:j
- if I can't *sparkle*, I'll try to shine a little bit :rotfl:
