the ELOYS fluid is low and needs to be topped up.

It's a silly addative that is added to the fuel to make them run cleaner.

You'll also need to get your DPF removed and jet washed.

    PITA if you ask me!

fluid all topped up, still no difference and i dont understand the rest of what you said lol, front pipe was dropped incase cat was blocked and still wont start, all codes were cleared out the ecu aswell, as wits end now, just dont lknow what to do, i live in a rural village, no busses on weekends and only 1 in the week, and no bus to the school, which is 7 miles away

Is the Peugeot system the one where you need to avoid putting £10 worth of fuel in and only fill up by brimming the tank? Sounds like the diesel may not be the ideal car for the school run.

Yop thats the one. Pug and Cit diesels need to be brimed, or at least half fill the tank, otherwise you end up blocking up the Diesel Particulate Filter (Whcih is what your message is)
  • OP said theyve had the DPF done. has it thrown this code up again after fix? i would suggest you replace the fuel filter. have the DPF carfully jet washed, and try again.

on my dads 307 1.6 petrol it used to come up as you mentioned but was always the crank sensor.
  • Additive has been refilled, but have the additive counters been reset to tell the system it's been filled? Does the car crank or does it just click when the key is turned?

A bit late now, but you should have done it straightaway really. It needed a good run at higher speeds to clear it.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

    Hi,

We've got an 807 hdi, also had the filter warnings and did get the ELOYS fluid changed and the DPF filter cleaned out, however when we had all our trouble the car never got to the point when it wouldn't actually go, it just went into limp mode, so lost some power, but you could still drive it.

You're not going to want to hear this but we have had a lot of problems with our car, mostly minor but annoying, however the Peugeot dealer was not very good and we lost faith in them, however we found a very good Pug/Cit independent who were great and have saved us a lot of money.

Just realised this post is now a couple of week old, so hope you got it sorted in the end, was it the DPF or something else?
