My lovely lovely Oyster only takes up about 25% of my tiny punto boot - and I could remove the back wheels to make it smaller. They are meant to fit in the boot of a mini the lady in the shop told me. I think its similar to the icandy cherry - that was my other choice but much more expensive.

we got the oyster, its absolutely lovely, you can even change the colours (buy different packs for hoods and covers etc) it fits easily into my clio, its a great little pram system, would totally recommend

What age will he be? Some are suitable from birth, 3 months or 6 months.

I have heard good things about the oyster and it does fold small. But I think the seat unit is from 6 months so you would need a carry cot before that (which takes up more space and costs more). I have a M&P Joolz which I love and it does fold small (you would need to remove the wheels for a micra), again not suitale for under 6months so carry cot (I don't like seeing babies in carseats on pram frames so that was never an option for me, personal view but one that is backed up by many).

The best advice is to go out to some shops and find one you like (try pushing them).

Nice to hear good things about the Oyster, my DD wants to get the pearl colour.
She has a Ford Ka (new style, but they are still small) & its the smallest lightest carrycot-buggy-carseat pushchair available (AFAWK).

I have an oyster too, they fold up fantastically small, I've put mine in the rear passenger footwell of a 307 before now :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
