1998 Clio Cam Belt gone, is it worth anything?

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask but the Cam Belt went on my 1998 Clio whilst driving I have been quoted anything upto £600 to repair the damage done. I was looking to replace it anyway so I don't really want to repair it. My question is... Is it worth anything and if so how much?? It still has a couple of months tax and about 6 months MOT

Ebay it, it's worth something for the mot. Cash the tax in though.

as above fleabay it you will get something plus the fact the motor will be gone so you do not have to deal with getting a non runner moved.

Well it's worth about £100-150 in scrap value at the moment, so £150-200 on ebay should be achievable.

Thanks for the reply. I have been offered £350 for it. Should I take it?

£350 for a 1998 non-runner? Grab it with both hands.
