Why on earth did you have benefits, and now your salary, going into an ex wife's account?

Are you and your ex wife 'separated but still under the same roof', or were you trying to hide monies that others might lay claim to for debt repayment etc.?

I think DWP would have a field day with this one.....as well as child tax credits et al should you have children together!

It is a savings account in my Ex Wifes name and I dont get statements so yes I did not notice any payments still being paid

So then the money will just be sitting there for you to pay it back.

First it was a savings account that he never seen statements for, then he came up with his wages also went into the account, he then said half of the money is still there and will pay this back......

If half of the money is still there which could add up to £2000 plus, did they not think something was up, surely the ex would have looked at mini statements when taking OP's wages out every month.

    Ex's SAvings account gets me.....
