Received a letter today from SQN services stating the following
Dear XX,
We are writing to you because we are trying to contact XXX, concerning an important matter.
We have used the services of external agencies and therefore wish to verify that we are contacting the right person.
Please call us on FREEPHONE 0800 xxxxxxx to discuss
It wasn't addressed to me personally, just the 'Occupier', however the letter detailed my correct name.
After a bit of Googling, it seems they are a debt recovery service.
Now I have debts, but they aren't massive, I pay them regularly, never missed a payment, never made one late, and have always paid them off in full before closing accounts/cards etc. I can't understand why they would be trying to contact me??
I've a feeling it may be a scam, but I'm not too sure.
I haven't called the number, I'd like some advice if anybody can help me out. I've never had anything like this is the past, and tbh it's a bit worrying:(

In the XXX was my name.
There is no reason that I know about why somebody would be chasing me for money??Comping wins

It could be someone else with the same/similar name to you!
Just ignore it, if you're certain that you have no outstanding debts then bin it and any others that you may get."I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
