Block Mobile Phone Calls With Sky

Before I was with talktalk and I was able to block mobile phone calls from being made from my house phone.
Now I am with sky and twice I have called them and they said this option is not available but might be so in the future
I have family members that when ever they come over, they just call mobile phone from my house constantly. Regardless what I say, they still do it
I have told them about where you dial a special 0871/0844 number to get the call cheaper but they dont listen or care
Anyway, does anybody know if sky can actually do this and are just telling me that? Thanks

They're few and far between now but you really need a Commtel Phone Guard (click that link and, if any are currently available on eBay, they'll come up).
If you can get one for less than £20 delivered, you'll be doing well.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
If they continue to abuse your hospitality then why not ban them from the house for a while?
Or show them the the bill and ask them to pay their share? No free lunch, and no free laptop

If you use a portable handset, just hide it when they visit.;)0

Make the phone off limits. If they refuse to comply make it clear their presence is no longer welcome. It sounds as tough you're not being forceful enough, it's not an issue about finding low-cost alternatives, but to use their own communications devices if they want to satay in touch, not yours.0

I been looking for commtel phone guard for weeks now, and can't find any?
I am with sky, thinking of changing to BT/Virgin as DD1 keeps using the phone to ring mobiles, we hide the phone but she always finds it... Anything else we could buy? I have also been looking for a phone where we can put a password in to use... ?0
