Primus Problems...again!!

I signed up with Primus Home Phone in February 2010 and have had endless problems since being with them.
To try and contact Customer Service is like pulling teeth and I have had to go through agony trying to understand the foreigners when I do eventually get hold of them.
After many problems I told them I would be ending my contract as soon as the year was up because they haven't got a clue!
(the bills every month far exceeded what the contract stated and each month they got bigger and bigger!)
So once Christmas was over I searched for a better supplier and decided to go with BT and arranged for the package to start in February this year which happened..no problem.
I received a Bill from Primus dated 15/01/2011 and to say I was stunned is an understatement.
For Period 15 Dec 2010 - 14 Jan 2011
Call Charges £5.59
Charges, Credits and Adjustments £53.91
20% VAT £11.90
Sub Total £71.40
View Details Total for this bill £71.40
I contacted them and asked what was all this about & was told that I had terminated my contract early by 4 months and this adjustment was the £53.91 I owed them.!
I spelt it out loud and clear that the contract ended in February so where did they get the idea that the contract ended in June?
"Mrs Adams, you have to pay an early termination fee" (in her broken english),and I responded that the termination ended in February not June!
After much arguing,I told her that I can't be bothered to argue the toss and also queried that this FINAL BILL would indeed be a FINAL BILL,to which she stated it would be the end of the contract and no more bills would come from them.
I hid the fact from my husband about the extortionate phone bill and accepted the fact that maybe I was wrong,so they could have the money, but I checked 11 Bills that I have received and to my reckoning,11 monthly bills from 12 months contract = 1 month yes?
So how come the termination fee ended in June?
Despair and sheer frustration sent me into the depths of depression, but was so glad to see the back of Primus I would have paid anything, even though were OAP's!
Today,I received another bill from Primus to the tune of £6.61 for the month ending 28th February and I have gone mental.
I am with BT and have been for a month,so how come I owe Primus & BT for the same period?
After waiting on the phone for 31 minutes,I got through to a Rose Vaz and I went in guns blazing, shooting from the hip with both barrels.
I ranted and raved, explained that they no longer provide my telephone because I had moved to BT, and she said this is when the termination ends and this is OUTSTANDING!
What's going on,surely once BT contacted Primus to take over the contract, the contract ends doesn't it?
"Mrs Adams",you can pay the bill over the telephone now,I can take your payment",to which I responded "your not getting another penny out of me and Primus can take me to court if they wish".
So Martin, have you got any answers for me and the rest who signed up with Primus through your site because I'm damned if I know whats occuring!
Thinking about changing to Primus after this debarcle?
Good Luck!

The Prologue!
Today: 6/04/2011 I receive a letter from New Call....stating that I owe £6.61 still and they would like payment.
I called and actually got an English young lady who enlightened me as to why the termination fee was so high.
I recall after she told me, that I changed contracts in June and this is why the termination fee was so expensive.
I informed her that I hadn't received a new contract about this, and she told me that "This is a Verbal Agreement, not written!"
She has waived the final payment of £6.61 today for me and at last I am no longer a customer of Poxy Primus.
It still sticks in my craw that I have been Bled Dry by this terrible company and God Help anyone who signs up with them in the future.
They will tear you apart and spit out the bones..believe me!0
