Distance Selling Clarification

  • Hi All. OK - so we have all agreed they are buying a SERVICE (my original question)

@ Optimist - Thanks for the clarification there

@ mo786uk - Thanks for the clarification. Looks like I should attach a T&C page

@ Unholyangel - What constitutes a 'durable medium'? - does a webpage qualify, or should it be hardcopy? So you are saying that if the required (statutory) durable info is not provided, it doesnt apply, and the law defualts to 90 days? To be clear, no company can lean into the 7 day rule unless they have articulated it?

@ Oopsadaisy - No. No one sells a quarter of a million pounds worth of rights with that model, as we have, with just one offer

@ shaun from Africa - Thanks for that link, I appreciate it. Our single CDs go out in an Amaray (DVD) case which is cellowrapped, but we also sell rights to entire 'catalogues' of CDs, which go out in a spindle tub - for which such seals will be ideal - so thanks again for that
