Hi. Haven't tried it myself, but someone in Aldi said their version is the same as Baileys and is only about £3.75.0

Ive tried loads of alternatives and found the closest is tescos own as its made with whiskey like baileys, most others are mad with wine. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

My wife swears by the M&S version. Can't remember the exact price, but it's cheaper than the original but more expensive that Aldi/Lidl.0

Just googled tescos at £5.38 for 70cl, not as cheap as aldis but still pretty good they are selling one called Irish Meadow for £3.99, anyone had that?0

The lidl version is just as good as Bailey's....I have decanted it into a Bailiey's bottle and Dh hasn't noticed the difference.
If you're feeling adventurous you can make your own: Christmas Drinks

Hi, I quite regularly drink Irish Meadow as a replacement to Baileys, its not quite as creamy but tastes very similar non the less. Besides after a few who can tell the difference anyway!!
Beware though as because it is less creamy that the original thing it is soooo easy to drink more than you should, my friend and I can easily polish off a full bottle whilst getting ready for a night out!!

I like M&S's version, very nice!!! Nicer than Sainsbury's Taste the Difference.0

I know you're looking for an alternative, but if you really would prefer the real thing, the airport is often a good place.
BAA airports have been selling two bottles (1 litre each) of Baileys for £20 for ages now. They also have flavours that I don't think you can buy in the shops yet (Mint Chocolate and Caramel - both delicious!). Can only be bought airside though, so you'd need to be flying somehwere, or know someone who is.
Decent tasting alternatives that I know of are Carolans or Heather Cream. They should have started to appear in the supermarkets now that Christmas is fast approaching!0
