Welcome finance.. How do i start a new claim?

I had a loan with welcome finance, I took it out sometime between 2005-2008. I definitely had PPI on it. How do I start a claim?

I have no paperwork for the account or any account number and no long live at the same address. Is there a way I can find out all this information?

Many thanks

L

I would look around the welcome posts to find out who the insurer is and contact them. Bear in mind if they sold you a 5 year policy it might have expired.

Its good that people want to claim on a policy as it was intended.

At the moment you still deal with welcome, The fscs are helping them with the ppi claims, if you got the loan through a broker then you send a letter to them. You need to request a copy of the original loan agreement, send a letter to welcome with a cheque or potal order for £1.Even if the ppi is no longer running you can still make a claim, you can still make a claim if you have previously made a claim on the actual insurance. There have been lots of wins in the circumstances i have said.Welcome ppi is a rip off and as is it is frontloaded you will pay back at least 4 times this amount with the interest on and only have cover for 5 years, but still pay this ppi back to loan end with interest.
