Choosing new radiators.

Hi all.
I'm in the middle of completely renovating a bungalow and I'm now at the stage of choosing radiators. I've already calculated the heating requirements of each room using Radcalcs and Mears calculators, both of which gave very similar results.
Has anyone ordered anything from plumbnation before as that's where I'd like to buy them from. Are there any other online retailers you'd recommend for radiators?
I have a choice between the following brands/designs:
Myson Select
Myson Premier Compact
Stelrad Compact
Stelrad Elite
Quinn Compact
The heat outputs don't seem hugely different between them so I am leaning towards the Stelrad Compact at the moment.
Lastly, I'd ideally like to have just a towel rail in the bathroom without a radiator because I don't really have the room. However, according to the calcs I'd need one with around 3000BTU output to effectively heat the room, but all of the towel rails I've looked at with that output are far too big.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, that does look nice. It has the right BTU output as well so I may well buy that one. :TIonkontrol wrote: »Try http://www.bhl.co.uk/ for radiators.
I'll take a look, thanks.Canucklehead wrote: »
Thanks, I do like those. They also sell them at plumbnation. I just looked at the Stelrad Elite brochure and it looks like the top grilles and end panels are optional extras on that design which will add quite a bit to the final price. I think the softline are my favourite at the moment. Do you know if they usually come with the grilles and end panels?0 -

Be careful with BTU figures. There's various ways of measuring them which can overstate the true heat output. Towel rads are a particular problem. Make sure they are tested to BS EN442 and compare BTUs between products at the same Delta (a quick google will explain what that means).0 -
Hi,
Rads come complete with end and top grilles.
Buy local. If any damage then it's easier to return.

I just compared the prices and PTS are about the same as the online retailers after all so I will be buying from them.0

Wise move. Each time I've ordered rads online they've arrived damaged!0
