Putting my tv on opposite side of the room to aerial socket?

Hopefully this makes sense
:
Id like to change my living room around and put my tv on the opposite side of the room to where it is now. Not wall mounted, just on a cabinet.
How would I go about moving the aerial socket? Can that be done or would I have to have a cable running along the wall?
Thanks

The co-ax cable can either be run around the skirting board to the new position, or under the floorboards if not a solid floor. The latter will obviously involve more work.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Is the wall where you are moving the TV to an outside one.
In which case you may be able to reroute the cable round the outside of the house.
You could get white coax to blend in with your decor if you have to run the extension round the skirting. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

If it's a roof aerial you could consider a new cable from it down the correct side of the house and in to a aerial socket.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

I live in a flat which isnt ground floor so not sure if that would work. Is coax cable quite thin? Dont want it to be too noticable.
Can I put an aerial socket on a different wall without chasing into the walls?0 -

You don't actually need an Aerial Socket, you do need a cable from your aerial to your TV.0 -

No, that runs to your TV from the existing socket! However that will be visible. No free lunch, and no free laptop
