If there is an answer on this forum somewhere then I am sorry. In the past, with buying TV's from John Lewis we have always price matched successfully stating that anything that is "Free" isn't included in the price of the product. So our last TV we price matched got the free 5 year guarantee and a free BluRay player all…

Mostly if you get a nice Apple person in store, they will do their best to repair something reduced/for free no matter how old it is.
