Bathroom fitting - how much to budget?

Looking for some advice on bathroom installations....

Our bathroom is in sore need of refurbishment. It's actually two rooms - bath and sink in one room; toilet in another. No plans to knock through since we don't have an en-suite or any other toilet facilities. So what I want is...

- replacement of bath and basin (potentially moving the bath 90 degrees)
- installation of a thermostatic mixer shower (over the bath; no space for a cubicle, alas)
- straight swap of the toilet
- adding a small basin in the toilet room
- replacing the radiator in the bathroom with a heated towel rail.

How much do you reckon that might set me back for installation? I'm in Oxford.

Finally, I searched the site to see if anyone had bought from Victoria Plumb but nothing came up - are they any good? Their prices are a heck of a lot more competitive than other places...

On what you have identified I would allow 3 days for a plumber, maybe going into a 4th day. Plus pipework, elbows, multikwiks, etc. Allow up to £700 - £800 labour and say £100 on parts.

Plus then add on cost of bath, wc, wash hand basin, etc.

Then the costs of tiling plus the labour for tiling.

Easy to say goodbye to £4k or more
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

I am assuming that there must be tile removal especially where the bath is.

Hole chopping for the new thermostatic shower valve.

Additionally the new toilet might need work done on the floor where the old one was (and the bath)

Our 2x2m bathroom (complete refit) was estimated at 10 grand of which about 30-40% was labour. Did it myself in the end, took weeks...

Before buying anything get advice (about the products) and a price from a plumber.

Also google Reviews for each of the products- I got a sink Glide tap by CrossWater that floods the bathroom if you leave it running very slightly.

Bathrooms and kitchens are both potentially very expensive- regardless of the size.

I'd say you should budget at least 2-3k for most bathroom renovations. The more expensive the fittings, repair work and moving of baths etc, the more it'll cost.
Check the price of the suite you are going for, then ask the plumber if he can get it for you at trade price.
